Tritton Primer Wireless Stereo Headset for the Xbox 360 Review.

Let me start this review by saying i have been looking for a good wireless headset for months maybe even years.

The Tritton Primer headset came out a a week before Christmas and I was lucky enough to receive it as a gift from my brother. I have had this headset for about a month already and I have to say it has its pros and it has its cons. Lets just say though that all the pros out weigh the cons and justify the 99.99 price tag for the headset.

Lets start with the build Tritton is a builder of many great headsets I would even have to say that next to turtle beach there is no one else that could stand up against them. The headset is a solid build the earpieces both have a soft and very comfortable cushions along with that the actual head piece also has a very comfortable cushion that will make hours of playtime easy on the ears and the head lol. Unlike Trittons earlier model headset The Detonator the boom mic doesnt come off and you cant use this pair as a set of headphones.

The wireless aspect of this headset is pretty cool you just plug the base into the 360 and then sync the headset to it and you can go from there. The ability to hear in game audio through the Dolby 7.1 is amazing. Some say that it doesn't help but it does When playing any FPS game i.e MW3 or black ops you can hear your enemies an things that you wouldnt normally hear through your TV. There is a drawback though to the wireless aspect you still have to connect the headset to the controller with a chat cable much like and of the wireless TurtleBeach headsets unlikc the Devastator which will be released sometime this year some will say that this headset is not truly wireless but to me it is.

Some of the other draw back to the headset are the is no SVM (Selectable Voice Monitoring) that means you can hear yourself in the headset so sometimes you may get louder then you want while playing. Also again I have to say that unlike the detonator you can remove the boom mic and you can use these as stereo headphones. All in all if you are looking for a great wireless headset that is not too pricey an is great in many aspects look no further this headset is awesome. One last thing though be prepared with batteries unlike the turtlebeach wireless series these bad boys dont have a rechargeable battery which in my opinion is a good thing so that when the batteries do die you wont have to connect it and play without the headset you can just swap them out and continue to play..

So my verdict on this headset is a straight buy it is a great buy and it is worth it if you like me play on line a lot..

Until Next Time Geeks....
