Injusttice Gods Among Us a Review.

The Special Edition of the game.

In 2009 NetherRealm released Mortal Kombat a reboot to an amazing series that was always in my opinion Street Fighters rival. Fast forward 4 years and NetherRealms is at it again.  With Injustice Gods Among us.

The game follows the story of Justice League when Superman has his last straw broken because he is tricked into killing his wife and his unborn child by the Joker everything in their universe is turned to shit. A nuke goes off and their world is turned upside down. All the superheroes start picking sides and it is up to everyone to choose what side they want to take.

The game comes in multiple flavors. Your standard gen consoles but along with those comes the special edition of the game and the Joystick version of the game. Which is pictured below.

The fight stick version of Injustice it comes in both 360 and PS3 flavors.

The gameplay is pretty solid. The controls are nice but much like Mortal Kombat the game can be very unforgiving when it comes to its learning curve. There is practice mode and a mode called Star Labs where you can learn some basic moves but again it is pretty much one of those things that you have to teach yourself.

The graphics are pretty solid and the story once again is pretty amazing it in that great DC length it is another universe created by the game developers. That is one of the biggest reasons I love DC they have a way of explaining everything and it is awesome. All in all I have to say that Injustice is an amazing game it have its steep learning curve and the online maybe hickupy when playing on the ps3 but it is still a very playable game online and off. It is also a great rent if you are looking to play something over the weekend.

Last but not least if you want more of the store look for the DC comic that came out a couple weeks before the game release..

Until Next Time Geeks...
