Tomb Raider the Review.

Have you ever seen or heard of a video game that you couldn't stop thinking about.  For me whenever I see or hear something that sparks my interest I feel that way. An the new game this month is Square Enix's Tomb Raider this is a revival of the 1996 classic that changed the way that we look at the third person adventure title.

Since 1996 Tomb Raider has always been about a buxom British beauty and the thrill she gets when searching for lost items. Fast forward 14 years and now in a world of where we have games like Uncharted Square and Crystal Dynamics felt that it is time to give the series a reboot. An let me tell you that it is such and amazing reboot.

The game starts off with Laura fresh out of finishing school or graduate school for those who are not British. Laura finds herself on the SS Endurance on a expedition through the Dragon's circle. The ship is destroyed due to a storm and Laura finds herself on a mysterious island that is a home base to a cult. I wont go into anymore detail because the best part is experiencing it yourself.

The controls are very sturdy for this game there was never a moment where I would find myself pressing something else instead of the shoot or action buttons. The game will not change the way you look at an adventure experience but it will certainly have you looking differently at Square and the Tomb Raider series. The visuals and the graphics are really amazing while you find yourself climbing the side a mountain. You will lose your breath as you look at all the scenery.

The game comes in multiple platform flavors along with that it comes in a regular edition and a limited edition as seen in the picture at the top of the page I am looking into getting the special edition because I can not pass up the awesome Play Arts Kai figure that is bundled with that version of the game.

Stay tuned for our review of the multiplayer. I have yet to try it but I will and expect a review.

Until Next Time Geeks.
