Let Holiday Gaming Begin!!

With the release of Gears of War 2 holiday gaming begins. This is my informal review of the game. I have to say right off the back Gears 2 doesnt let you down. The graphics are still great the voice acting is still great and the visual cinemas are as good as ever. But to what really matter the hours and hours and hours that you will spend playing on the multiplayer. The new Players Choice feature is awesome. They took the voting aspect of Halo 3 and made it so much better. The release of this game gives the multiplayer a few inks but all in all it is a great game. The Campaign is still as good as it was in the first Gears. It is now even longer but then again the is really easy to get tied into it and end up finishing the game in a couple of days.

Dead Space, Fable 2, and The long awaited Fallout 3

With the holiday season coming consoles are getting some amazing games. Dead Space, Fable 2, Fallout 3 are just some to start with. These games a certainly amazing beyond a doubt. Dead Space is scary as hell and will make a good Halloween night game to play. Fable 2 is engrossing and fun the only problem with it is that it is short and sometimes aggravating it is still a great game. Fallout 3 is epic it is just like Oblivion in the sense that when you start playing you lose all track of time and end up forgetting to do things that you were suppose to do. These are just a taste of some of the great games out this Holiday. Stay tuned for Nov. 7th for the release of the most anticipated game since Halo 3.

Microsoft giving away memory upgrades.

Call of Duty World at War Beta test being given out.

Activision is giving out beta test tokens for the multiplayer. they recently started the friends and Family multiplayer beta. If you are part of the Call of Duty community then in the coming days or weeks look for a beta test invite in you email. If you are not part of the Call of Duty family. Just do what I did and pre-order the game at gamestop and you will be guaranteed a beta test invataion.

Cliff B. from Epic says that Gears of war 2 is the best game Epic has ever created.

As you may know Gears of War 2 is slated for a November release just in time for the holiday season. Cliff B at a recent interview said that Gears of War 2 is the best thing that Epic has made. I have to say that the first was really good and I cant wait to get the second. it is easily going to be a runner for game of the year. So look for Gears of War 2 hitting shelves on November 7th. So go pre-order it so that you dont bitch when you cant get a copy.

Fallout 3 goes gold

Yes it is official Bethesda's RPG has gone gold. the project is finally finished in time for it's Oct. 28th release date. This is going to be a great game. I wasnt very into Oblivion but I like it, it had a great story and great gameplay. Fallout 3 will be the same but maybe alittle shorter

News about Nov. Update.

Looks like if you dont already have an HDD for you Xbox 360 or a 512 memorycard you are going to need one. Apperantly you need atleast a 256mb of memory for the upcoming update. It will be worth your while though. November 19th is still along whiles away but it is coming.

Tekken 6,Halo Recon,and The New Update.

Is now officially coming to the Xbox 360. This was reported at the Microsoft Press-Conference at the TGS. Along with that the newest part of the campaign to the Halo series which is called Halo Recon. In this game you will play a shock trooper in the events that take place before Halo 3. This is the second time that you get to play as another character since playing as the Arbitor in Halo 2 it is set to release sometime in 2009. Last but certainly not least the Dashboard update has been set for release for November 19th. Who else can't wait?

Holy Shi!@# it has been too long.

Well like it says in the title it has been too long. Sorry about that I have just been busy with school and work. There are quite a few things that are new in the geek community. For instance it is the start of the summer dvd release starting with Iron Man now out on Blu-ray and dvd. I bought it on Bu-ray and my God is it awesome. On the 14th Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the Crystal Skull is coming out I am not to sure if I really want it. Maybe I will get it when the other movies come out on Blu-ray. In videogame news Star Wars the force unleashed is out so with Rock Band 2 they are both great games the only thing Rock Band 2 is missing is a career mode. On the 21st the long awaited Fable 2 is coming out and then later that weekend it is the new Guitar Hero game. in the movies Eagel Eye is out and I am not too sure about that movie. I do want to see Nick and Norah though that and Sexdrive they look like they are really funny.

Wow sorry for the long wait.

It has been almost a 2 months since my last update and I am really sorry about that. Since my last update many things have happened. I am going to start with games the long awaited Metal Gear solid 4 is now out and my god is it a great game. Also alone in the dark and Guitar Hero Aerosmith is out. As for movies Wanted it out which I still need to go and see along with that Wall-E is also out which is the latest film from Disney/pixar they should just call the company Pixar because it is all Pixar doing these films Disney has lost all originality. There are only 15 days left till The Dark Knight the next installment in the new batman trilogy. I cant wait it is going to be a great film.

The long awated update.

It has been about 3 weeks since I have given any new news to you geeks. The reason for that is I have been busy with school and work; but since I am here I want to talk about a few things first being Iron Man. I really recommend that you go see it. Another movie I want to talk about is Speed Racer I am boycotting that movie because Speed Racer is a Japanese cartoon that aired in the 60's nothing about that movie is Japanese. Watch it if you want but if you feel as I do boycott it. Last but certainly not least Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull is going to be a great movie I am so excited to see it because I have never been able to see an Indiana Jones movie in theaters . Also look for the re-release of the Trilogy on dvd and the dvd triple pack.

It all ended today.

Today was the end of the 2008 NYC Comic Con and I have to say that it was so much better than last year. I had a great time I bought a bunch of comic con exclusives and had a lot of fun. I was for a couple hours on Friday and the whole day on Saturday and Sunday. I have to say though if you wanted to have a lot of fun you should be there on Saturday or Friday because everything is a still fresh and new. Another thing that was so disappointing was that Grace Park was not there on Saturday during the Battlestar Galactica panel I did find out that she was there the day before though I missed her by a couple of hours. Everything else though was great I got to see the new Chronicles of Narnia trailer that will be shown during Iron Man. I also got to see plenty of little exerts from the new Disney Pixar movie Wall-E; I have to say that both are going to be great films and must sees during the summer. I ended the day on Saturday meeting Milo Ventimiglia I have to say he is really about the fans. most actors are not real actors in the sense that they only do it for the money and not the fans but Milo was really about the fans. The day ended very well and I can t wait till next year. I will post pics soon. Until next time

New GAMEINFORMER.

Well everyone it is that time of the month you are starting to receive new magazines among other things . This month in the new GAMEINFORMER it talks about one of the most anticipated games of the 2008-2009 holiday season. That is Gears of War 2 it give a brief walkthrough of the new characters and the second level . Some of the new characters add a new perspective to the game and I think that they will be a great new addition. To the Gears of War franchise I have high hopes for this game I just hope it does not pull a fast one like Halo 2 did. So until next time

Much like Metal gear solid 4.

Will Resident Evil 5 be the last game of the series. It has been 10 years since capcom first released Resident Evil or its Japanese counter part Biohazard. With the release of Resident Evil 4 in 2005 it revolutionized the way we look at Resident Evil games. I am happy to say that you that again for Resident Evil 5 but like I said in the title if you watch the 10 min. Interview with the games director you will see that he say at 7:19 that he want Chris to bring the Resident Evil story to and end.(click the number) I bet the fanboys will not believe it. But I do as long as they give the game a great send off it will all be worth it. Until next time

The New York Comic Con will be housing other interesting attractions for New Yorks comic book lovers. Stars to writers to artist but one of the biggest things that will be at the comic con are the new comic books. One making is debut is United Free Worlds this is the brain child from Blake Leibel and Jason Raines and published by Fantasy Prone. I have not finished it yet but from what I read it is pretty good and I cant seem to put it down I hope I can get to learn more about it at the Comic Con. So until then

The Comic Con is almost here.

It will all start with the award ceremony honoring Stan Lee as a New York comic legend. It will be held in Time Square on Thursday April 17th if you are one of the lucky few you will be able to go to the ceremony but most wont unless they are press or spent the $300- $400 dollars for a ticket to the ceremony. After the ceremony NYC Comic Con will officially be on. I hope to see you there so until then.

NYC Comic Con is just a week away.

From today Comic Con is just 8 days away. The weekend of the Comic Con I will be documenting everything that I am going to do there. I hope I get to do everything that I want to do, the biggest thing I want to do though is meet Grace Park and hopefully interview her for my blog. Lets keep our fingers crossed. The New York Comic Con is Coming
